These animal beads date back sometime between 1948 and 1952. They were made in Italy using the Lampwork method. Each bead is an individual, no two are 100% exactly alike.

Whomever made these monkey beads had a real sense of humor, my kind of guy!! The classic "See No Evil", "Hear No Evil", "Speak No Evil" Monkeys as glass beads! Sell each design by the pair for $5 . These are sure to get attention either singley or when used all together. Unfortunately See no Evil has sold out! Made in Italy in 1948. Beautiful Black Birds with White wings, red beak. Measure 18x8mm. Maybe they are ducks. No..I think they are birds, but then again a duck is a bird but a bird is not necessarily a duck. The extremely rare Zebra Unicorn, long thought to be extinct and living on only in these beads. What's more, it is the black-horned variety, never really common to begin with. Fat little piggie beads measure 15mm round, you can't see it, and I couldn't photograph it because they kept rolling off, they have a curlicue tail!! Complete in every detail except for the oink. Seems to be a tiger to me. Maybe it is a lion. Has big teeth, orangey stripes so I opt for tiger. Lot of detail doesn't come out well in photo but it is there, keep you guessing!! Sold in lots of 6 for $13.50. Order Item #BDVN-4087.

Little bumble bee beads, made with amazing attention to detail. Bear in mind that when these beads were made, a flame of over 2000 degrees had to be used.
