Always a favorite, this is a beautiful elliptical turquoise in a unique setting. Note that there are square cut marcassites on both the top and bottom of the sterling mounting. Perfect shape too, the height is 45mm while the width is 30mm and the color is the perfect turquoise, the southwest variety. Bail is flexible, moves when the wearer moves. If at all possible we will always use the flex bail which is the right way to make a pendant. Fixed bails can break simply because they are stiff and do not move with the wearer, a fact overlooked by most modern makers who haven't had enough broken ones returned to them to figure that out yet and are always looking to do it the cheap way as opposed to the right way!!
