Three beads with trailings, one is translucent and two are not. They all measure about 16mm and the colors are very rich. Even the black, which is midnight black. The red is deep fire engine red and the teal is lucid and vibrant. These were made in Japan in 1954, the trailings rise slightly above the beads in some spots and sink into them in others. Unlike others of their ilk that tend to show a heavy trailing above the bead, these are delicate in presence. Order by color from the proper button below.

Strangely 10mm in size, these are old Japanese beads from Japan, 1950. This sort of thing did not take off until a later time, the early 60's, but a lot of experimentation was done at the time and they can get pretty complicated as time went by, before the whole thing was chucked in the mid 50's. A day late, a dollar short. Hence a number of them exist today but the last few caches around seem to be disappearing now. For as it is said: "Here today, gone tomorrow". And so it was with most of the beads of the day. Basic floral beads that fit into almost anything, except your nose. Order # BDVN4226.

Clear bead with a pink whatsis enclosed in it, adjacent to a white one. From the top these look like melon beads, from the sides however they look more like melon beads. But there is not enough division of entity to show that in the photo, so you will have to take my word for it. But why should you not, I am looking at them in the glass so to speak and you aren't. But you will, the pink is quite subtle , 14mm in diameter, not much of a gamble. Japanese origin, 1949. Order Item# BDVN5300.
