Original SWAROVSKI chinelles, in footage. We have the two colors, crystal and jet, these are Swarovski crystals set in a frame and linked together to form a continuous chain. Exact year of mfr unknown. The stones measure 7mm with the setting, these are not glued into the setting, the setting was formed around the stones. There are 20-21 stones in each foot, it varies slightly because of the links that make it into a chain. Plastic Chinelles. Gold Plated. The Chinelles measure approximately 10mm in the settings. The settings are Metal.. All parts are METAL except the stones. These are CHANNEL set, which means they are not glued in, the setting forms around the stone and it is held in by a perfect fit. The beads measure 7mm. Sold by the foot, there are 8-9 Chinelles in a foot and 8-9 beads in a foot. It varies somewhat due to variations in linkage. These were made in Japan but we do not know what year exactly however they are at least twenty five years old. Three varieties:
